PRIVATE POLICY AND PUBLICATION ETHICS

BHAIRAVI : National Peer Reviewed Journal of Visual  and Performing Arts is committed to ensure that privacy of author(s) is protected. The Journal may change this policy from time to time or while updating the web page. The journal gathers following information :

  • Name of the author
  • Contact Information including Email Address
  • Educational Qualification
  • Occupation

The information is required for understanding the needs of users and to offer better services.

BHAIRAVI : National Peer reviewed Journal of Visual Arts and Performing Arts is double blind peer reviewed journal.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF EDITORS

  • The Chief Editor and Editorial Board of the journal are responsible for selecting which research papers are accepted for publication after double blind peer review process.
  • The Chief Editor and Editorial Board evaluate the paper(s) purely on the basis of academic content irrespective of race, gender, religious conviction, ethnicity, nationality, or political affiliation of authors.
  • The Chief Editor and Editorial Board should not reveal any information about the submitted papers to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers and publisher.
  • Unpublished content of submitted papers should not be used by anyone while handling the paper(s) for his or her own research.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF REVIEWERS

  • Assist in Peer Review process and making editorial decision through editorial communications with author
  • Helping author in improving the paper, where ever applicable.
  • If there viewer is unable to undertake the job of reviewing, he/she shall promptly convey the same to the Chief Editor and Editorial Board.
  • Confidentially handle the papers received for review.
  • Review the paper rationally and empirically avoiding any favoritism and personal criticism.
  • Try to ascertain whether the relevant published work used by the author has been referred/cited/acknowledge
  • Maintain the confidentially of the information or ideas achieved during the peer review process.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF AUTHORS

Authors of papers should :

  • Present accurate information and original ideas. Supporting data should be represented precisely in the paper. A paper must have details of cited work/acknowledgement.
  • Ensure that the content is entirely original, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others. it must be suitably cited or quoted.
  • Avoid submitting of same research paper to more than one journal simultaneously, which is unethical and unacceptable.
  • Must acknowledge the work of others/ funding [if any]received for the research.
  • Research paper published or under review elsewhere, will be cancelled. Corresponding Author must ensure that all co-authors are appropriate.
