Journal Standards

Bibliographic Data & Literature Citation: Accurate and standardized referencing is mandatory for all submissions.

Articles must demonstrate academic rigor by including accurate, relevant, and consistent citations that support their research arguments and situate their work within the broader scholarly discourse.

Citation Guidelines
  • Use a balanced range of sources: books, journal articles, reviews, fieldwork reports, and archival materials.
  • Ensure references are regionally relevant and up-to-date to reflect the current state of the field.
  • Maintain consistency in citation style throughout the document (APA, MLA, or Chicago – as per journal instructions).
  • All in-text citations must correctly correspond to the bibliography/reference section.
Note: Articles with inaccurate or incomplete referencing may be rejected or returned for revision.

Authors are encouraged to uphold high standards of citation to ensure the academic integrity and contextual relevance of their submissions.
